Two quotes for the same unit can leave very different things on your plate. The difference is usually in the terms around the price: who carries unsold stock, what happens when it breaks down and what if the fridge does not sell. What drives the price itself is covered in what a smart fridge costs.
A quote that only names the unit and an amount leaves the important part open. Who buys the stock? Who pays for what passes its date? Who comes out when the cooling fails at night? Those questions decide whether the fridge is still selling after three months.
So compare who does which work, too. A cheaper quote where you fill the fridge yourself and carry unsold stock can end up costing more than one where the supplier takes on part of that. Count organising the restocking into the comparison.
| Question | Why it matters | What a good answer says |
|---|---|---|
| Unsold stock | Decides who pays for what nobody takes | Who carries it, in writing, and what happens to items close to their date |
| Term and exit | A fridge that does not sell is not one you want to keep for years | A clear term and a defined way out, especially with rental and leasing |
| Breakdowns | At night, nobody notices in time | Who notices, who you call and what happens to the contents, outside office hours too |
| Halal and kosher | Without a certificate you cannot check it | Certified producers and a certificate on request; vegan clearly labelled |
| Sales visibility | Without sales figures, nobody can adjust | Sales per product, visible to you |
| Unsuitable site | Some spots never sell | A supplier who says so before the sale; that is what we do |
Not sure yet whether to buy, rent or lease? In the site check you can tick “not sure yet” and we will compare the options for your site.

What sits behind a free vending machine is explained in free vending machine at work.

Compare every quote with what you do today as well: a canteen, a sandwich service, or nothing, with people driving off. That cost is on no invoice and still counts. The alternatives side by side are in alternatives to a staff canteen.
If you put our proposal next to another supplier’s, we are happy to go through both with you. If we are more expensive, we explain why, and if the other proposal suits your site better, we say that too.
Please do. Look past the amount at the bottom and compare what is included: who fills the fridge, who carries unsold stock, what happens when it breaks down. If you like, we go through both proposals with you.
Because the price depends on your site: the number of people, the hours and the range. We agree it in advance for each site, so no unexpected costs turn up later.
Who notices a breakdown, who it is reported to, what happens to the contents and when someone comes out. For a site that runs at night, that needs to be settled before the fridge arrives.
That is what renting is useful for: testing a site without buying. How that would work for you is something we discuss on the call.
The site check gives a first picture. If the call or a visit shows something else, such as more shifts or a different spot, we adjust the proposal and tell you what changed.
Eight short questions, then a proposal for your site that you can put next to any other: with unsold stock, maintenance and exit spelled out.
